On November 6, Madharam was on his way for his examination scheduled at 9am and incidentally was walking on the same elevated road where the speeding car arrived. Less he knew that he would be killed just an hour before his exam.

As reported by Dainik Bhaskar, Pragya had been admitted to a hospital due to deteriorating health. However, as reported by Aaj Tak in the video link below, police let the women leave the spot without arrest, stating victim’s family had not yet lodged complaint.

As per a report by India Today, the accused Neha Soni, was allowed to leave the police station along with her relatives on the same day. Jaipur Police gave Soni permission to return home without even registering an FIR in connection with the case.

Investigating Officer (IO) Raghunandan told India Today that kin of the deceased youth were yet to arrive from Rajasthan’s Pali district and that a case will be registered after they arrive in Jaipur.

Responding to questions about how the accused was allowed to leave without the police even registering an FIR in the case, IO Raghunandan was evasive and left the police station himself. He claimed that his presence was required at another location.

Fortunately, there were not many vehicles on the road at that hour, and thus several other mishaps were curtailed.
