Boyfriend Catches Rapist In The Act, Makes Him Regret Touching Her

After a man walked in on a rapist on top of his girlfriend, he gave the pervert something that made him wish he was in police custody.

In recent times, countless women have come forward to identify themselves as survivors of sexual harassment and assault. Still, many of their abusers are free to roam due to the fact that, for one reason or another, the victims failed to report the heinous crimes committed against them. While some of these sexual predators escape unscathed either because either the justice system failed or their victims remained silent, others weren’t as lucky.

Unfortunately, there will always be abusers who take advantage of vulnerable women. However, as long as good men are there to take action, these sadistic deviants won’t be walking away scot-free — at least, not without a distinct limp.

On New Year’s morning, Daniel Mattson, 27, walked in on his uncle William Mattson, 52, sexually assaulting his girlfriend. Discovering his relative on top of his significant other, Daniel did what any reasonable man would do in that particular situation.

Without hesitation, Daniel began brutally beating the rapist, refusing to stop until there was little more than a mangled version of his uncle bleeding on the floor next to the scene of the crime. According to Fox 8, William was beaten so severely that his lips and face were still bleeding and one eye was swollen completely shut when police arrived. He was subsequently arrested and charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Daniel Mattson was also arrested.

While William Mattson’s easily recognizable photo gained national attention, it’s not as well known that Daniel Mattson also received a mugshot of his own. After rescuing his girlfriend from the sexual abuser, Daniel was himself arrested and charged with assault. Although Daniel had rightfully used force to stop the rape, he had wrongfully continued to beat his uncle even after the threat had subsided, Conway Police Lt. Selena Small confirmed, according to Myhorrynews.com.

“Investigators have determined that there was a separate, subsequent assault to William Mattson outside of the residence, after the threat to the victim has been removed,” Small said.

Disturbingly, Small revealed that Daniel wasn’t exactly the hero he portrayed himself to be. According to his girlfriend, after Daniel had beaten his rapist uncle, he proceeded to assault her as well, resulting in both men ending up in police custody.

While we can cheer the fact that the rapist was given a justifiably earned punishment courtesy of the victim’s boyfriend, we can at the same condemn the subsequent abuse of a woman who apparently had done nothing wrong yet fell victim to both men in different ways. Thankfully, both men ended up exactly where they deserve once police arrived and sorted out the details.

This incident serves as a valuable lesson in justice and morality. It’s never acceptable behavior for a man to put his hands on a woman in anger. At the same time, it’s perfectly justified for a man to put his hands on another man in anger if the latter man is in the process of committing sexual assault.
