A viral video is hard to watch as it shows a mob brutally beating a white couple at an airport. What security staff appears to be doing, however, might be harder to stomach than the vicious attack itself.
A disturbing airport attack video began making the rounds on social media. Although the details are mostly unknown, the footage appears to feature a mob of black women pummeling a young, white couple at an unidentified airport, The Blaze reported. The shocking video of the altercation emerged in July of 2020, although the date of the incident was not confirmed.
The footage appears to have been originally shared by British political activist and author Mark Collett, who wrote, “A white couple are brutally set upon in an airport & the white man desperately tries to protect his girlfriend as what appear to be airport security simply stand & watch. I doubt this will be covered by the media, but you can bet that it would have if the races were reversed!”

It’s unclear what initially sparked the argument, but in another clip, which appears to have been captured before the brawling began, the couple is seen arguing with at least one black woman. The man is heard saying what sounds like, “Go get some more hair, b*tch,” apparently referring to the woman’s hair extensions, which sets her off.
More arguing commences, which is mostly unintelligible, but the black woman is obviously angered by the verbal altercation. As words are exchanged, the black woman rushes the couple, gets in their faces, and begins shouting at the woman and her boyfriend. That’s when things go from bad to worse.

As the black woman gets close, yelling at the couple, the white woman is seen slapping the black woman in her face and all hell breaks loose. A woman’s voice, presumably the person filming, begins to yell, “F*ck her up!” and a mob descends on the couple. Several more black women join in the melee, pummeling the couple with their fists.
The horde of angry women clashes with the couple, piling on top of the white woman and her boyfriend in a brutal airport attack. As the mob relentlessly throws fists, elbows, and feet, the man desperately tries to protect his female companion, but to little avail. Even as he lays on top of her, trying to shield her from the blows, she continues to receive kicks to her head and back.
The white woman is seen lying on the floor motionless with her boyfriend on top of her, trying to shield her head from the blows raining down on the two of them. At one point, he proves to be no match for the angry mob as he is pulled off so that the women can continue their attack on his presumed girlfriend. He breaks free, but rather than fight the woman, he again tries to cover and protect his woman.
The entire attack is difficult to watch, but one viewer was able to spot something that seemingly made the ordeal even worse. Two people, who appear to be airport security guards, were captured in the footage. Rather than trying to deescalate the situation, however, they appear to only watch with mild interest.
As if that isn’t bad enough, one of them appears to have their phone raised and pointed at the mob as they attack the couple on the luggage conveyor system. It seems they are recording the confrontation as the other person simply stands with their hands shoved in their pockets, making no attempt to stop the melee taking place right in front of them.
Although little is known about this airport attack, this seems to be the case of two wrongs don’t make a right. While some might defend the angry mob, saying the couple asked for it when they spouted off and then smacked one of the women, others will say that the reaction was uncalled for. I’d say, both are true.
What good can come out of running your mouth and slapping a stranger? None. However, that does not warrant an airport attack from an angry mob. Nor is it ever okay for the people, who are tasked with security, to sit back and just watch. Want to know what “defund the police” really looks like, just watch the footage above.
The important lesson here, however, is that anger and violence do not solve any problems. Although we don’t know what initiated the altercation, angry words and flying fists did nothing to solve it. There’s a time to just walk away, but unfortunately, no one did that here. And, the end result is another incident that furthers the divide. Enough is enough.
