Fatshark, the studio behind the highly-acclaimed Vermintide series, announced earlier this week another game in the same vein but in a different universe, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. Just like Vermintide, Darktide is a first-person action shooter that pits four players against hordes of horrors.In case you're wondering why Fatshark chose the Warhammer franchise, the answer can never be simpler: because people wanted it. Ever since it released Vermintide, fans bombarded the developer with requests to create a Warhammer 40,000 game in the same first-person co-op action genre.
It looks like Fatshark took the feedback to heart and revealed earlier this week its new IP, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. If you liked Vermintide, you're going to love Darktide as well since the studio is sticking to the same formula it knows and is known for.
