The Windows 10 Alt + TAB App Switcher Is Back in Business

I don’t know about you but the default Windows app switcher, which you can access by pressing Alt + TAB, is a critical OS feature that I use hundreds, maybe thousands, of times every day.

And it’s all because it makes jumping from one app to another much faster and doesn’t require turning to the mouse for clicking the window that I want to open.

And because I’m working mostly on a laptop without a mouse, it goes without saying that I’m using the keyboard more than the touchpad, so it’s easier to just switch apps using the Alt + TAB shortcut.

Earlier this year, however, I made the switch to Microsoft Edge, the new Chromium-based browser that’s also offered as the default Windows 10 option now. And after making the move, I almost immediately noticed something that needs to be improved in Windows 10, not only related to Microsoft Edge but to pretty much any browser running on Microsoft’s operating system.
