Latest Windows 10 Build Addresses a Disk Cleanup Annoyance

Microsoft has released a new Windows 10 preview build for users enrolled in the Fast ring, and just as expected, there are no new features but only two small improvements.

One of them, however, resolves a rather important annoyance, as it improves the Storage Sense cleanup.

As most Windows 10 users know already, Storage Sense’s automatic cleanup feature can also remove files in the Downloads folder, which is something that makes sense given this is where most users save their downloads. And unless they are moved to a different folder, they just stack up and end up eating precious storage on the device, so Windows 10 automatically clearing them out is a welcome improvement.

But on the other hand, if the Downloads folder is synced with a cloud service, deleting the data here obviously isn’t the right way to go.
