Windows Notepad, which continues to be one of the most popular apps bundled with the OS, is now available for download from the Microsoft Store, only a few months after Microsoft pulled it.The Microsoft Store version of Windows Notepad keeps coming and going these days, as not even Microsoft seems to be sure as to whether keeping the app available for download here is a good idea or not.
The app was last pulled from the Store in December 2019, when the company just provided a very simple explanation with no specifics regarding its decision.
“Thank you for all the feedback you provided on the Store version of Notepad. At this time, we’ve decided not to roll this out to customers,” Microsoft said at that time.
