Mozilla has released a new major version of Firefox for all supported desktop platforms, namely Windows, Linux, and macOS.
The company hasn’t yet announced that official changelog, but this new release obviously comes with all the features tested as part of the previous betas, including the security fixes that have recently been introduced for version 74.
Firefox 75 comes at a time when the entire world is in lockdown, as Mozilla is set to stick with its original release schedule despite substantial changes announced by Google and Microsoft.
Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge will skip one major version of the browser, jumping directly to version 83 in May. This is because Google and Microsoft modified their release calendars to prevent any compatibility work that may be required for developers working from home during the pandemic.
