Microsoft is projected to launch new Windows 10 cumulative updates tomorrow as part of this month’s April 2020 Patch Tuesday cycle.As usual, all Windows 10 versions will get updates, albeit it’s important to note that older releases are no longer supported and only Enterprise and Education SKUs are serviced. If you are running the latest version of Windows 10, which is version 1909, or November 2019 Update, you’re getting security updates regardless of the SKU running on your device.
Cumulative updates are particularly important for Windows 10 devices, as they include all the previously-released fixes. In most of the cases, they are supposed to resolve both security issues and non-security bugs, but the Patch Tuesday rollout is specifically aimed at addressing vulnerabilities in the first place.
