One of the most recent and useful features introduced in Windows 10 is the Windows Sandbox, which allows you to run apps in a secure environment without being worried of modifications that could be made to your files.
In essence a secure virtual machine, Windows Sandbox also allows users to contribute to the fight against the new coronavirus by simply running Windows 10.
Microsoft itself has explained how this works, revealing that Windows Sandbox make it possible for each and every one of us to donate CPU power as part of the Folding@Home project. Researchers and scientists would then use this processing power to run simulations of protecting dynamics that would help fight diseases, including the current pandemic that has already killed thousands all over the world.
