Gearbox announced two important things at PAX East earlier today. First, Borderlands 3 will be coming to Steam next month, and the second, a new expansion will be launched in late March across all platforms.Borderlands 3 will be released on Steam on March 13 and Gearbox announced that PC crossplay between Steam and the Epic Games Launcher will be available at launch. Moreover, players will be able to add friends to their Friends List, join co-op parties, and play together online regardless of which PC platform each player is using.
On top of that, Gearbox plans to release even more PC crossplay features, including the ability to mail weapons across platforms, but these will be available in the weeks following the game's launch on Steam.
