- According to People, Prince Louis slept through his christening at the Chapel Royal in St. James's Palace in London on Monday.
- When Archbishop Justin Welby greeted Kate Middleton at the service and commented on the slumbering prince, she seemed to say "let's hope he stays like this."
- Middleton's other children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, appeared to have been wide awake in their christenings in 2013 and 2015 respectively.
Mothers of newborns know how hard it is to get their baby to sleep, and are grateful for any moment of slumber. Even if that occurs during a special event.
That was the case for Kate Middleton whose third child, Prince Louis, slept through the majority of his royal christening on Monday, according to People.
But that wasn't evening the best moment of the royal christening. A video, shared via Kensington Palace's Twitter, shows Archbishop Justin Welby approaching Middleton and commenting on 2-month-old's untimely nap. In the interaction, Middleton — who donned an Alexander McQueen dress — seemed to say, "let's hope he stays like this."

This is not the first time the royal family has commented on the baby prince's knack for snoozing. At an Anzac Day Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving in April, Prince William said the baby had been sleeping well.
It appears in photos that Middleton's other children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, were not as relaxed as baby Louis at their own royal christenings.
This is the first time the family of five has been seen as a full unit in public, People reported.
The christening took place at the Chapel Royal in St. James's Palace in London.
