Pop stars Cheryl and Liam Payne have broken up, the couple announced on Sunday.
The former Girls Aloud and One Direction members broke up two weeks ago, according to the Sun.
They have a son called Bear who is one year old.
In a joint statement on Twitter, the pair said their split was a tough decision. "We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together," they said.
Here are the statements in full, which were tweeted to their combined 39 million followers:
We are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It's been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.

Cheryl and I are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It's been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.

The pop duo had been together for two and a half years.
Their relationship initially raised eyebrows because of the 10-year age gap between the pair. Cheryl was a judge on the X Factor when Payne was a contestant at just 14 years old.
Born Cheryl Tweedy, the ex-Girls Aloud singer announced that she wanted to be known by her first name in 2016.
Cheryl was married twice before — once to England footballer Ashley Cole and secondly to French restaurateur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
