Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were married at St. George's Chapel in Windsor, UK, on Saturday. The highly anticipated royal wedding was truly beautiful. There was a chorus, Harry kept his beard, and Markle stunned in a Givenchy dress.
But amid the regalia and fanfare, people couldn't help but be distracted when one wedding officiant uttered the words "sexual union."
Of course, he didn't randomly go off script in saying it. Here's the how the phrase appears the Church of England's wedding service: "The gift of marriage brings husband and wife together in the delight and tenderness of sexual union and joyful commitment to the end of their lives."
Even though the words are a part of the official ceremony, people are still losing it.
Did the priest just say "delight and tenderness of sexual union" π is he supposed to say that? #RoyalWedding

Everyone: “W H A T”#RoyalWedding
Some Twitter users think it's a sign that this is the most modern royal wedding yet.
MLK, slavery, ‘sexual union’, a gospel preacher, a divorcee bride, Kate giving Camilla side-eye, Eugenie working for Pan Am and Harry saying he’s ‘shitting it’. This wedding is giving me life. ππππ #royalwedding
