It's been a big week for celebrity romance. First, news broke that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson are dating, then reports surfaced that Avril Lavigne is dating an incredibly rich heir to a billion-dollar fortune.
Now, there is (potentially) a new unexpected celebrity couple in town — Nicki Minaj and Eminem.
Minaj herself broke the news when she posted a video to Instagram of her featured verse in YG's new single "Big Bank." In it, she raps about Eminem, calling him "Slim Shady" and, most notably, saying, "once he go black, he'll be back again.”
In an Instagram comment on the video, a fan asked Minaj if she was dating Eminem, and she responded, simply, "yes."
Eminem then followed up by commenting on the same video, "Girl you know it's true."
The internet did not break, exactly, but it came close. Most people found that they simply did not know how to feel about it.
