  • Meghan Markle will reportedly wear two dresses on her wedding day.
  • She's expected to change into a less extravagant gown for her reception after the wedding.
  • Kate Middleton did the same thing for her wedding in April 2011.

The wedding event of the year is only one month away, and everyone is speculating over what Meghan Markle will wear for her big day. Now there is double the speculation, as it's been reported that Markle will wear two dresses.

A source told Vanity Fair that Markle is expected to change into something slightly more casual for the reception after the wedding

"The plan is for her to change after the ceremony so that she can party the night away in something glamorous and less restrictive," the unnamed source told Vanity Fair. "Meghan can’t wait to surprise everyone, especially Harry."

Middleton took a similar approach for her wedding to Prince William in April 2011, trading in her luxurious wedding gown for an ivory satin dress that was less extravagant but equally elegant.

Everyone from Burberry designer Christopher Bailey and Markle's close friend Roland Mouret have been rumored to be designing the wedding gown, and it's also been reported that Markle's best friend Jessica Mulroney has advised her in the enitre styling process.

The source told Vanity Fair that there's reason to believe the wedding gown will be more on the traditional side.

"The wedding dress itself will be traditional and elegant," the source said. "There is talk of some lace and sleeves and Meghan has been working very closely with the designer who has been sworn to secrecy."

The world will finally get a glimpse of both designs when Markle walks down the aisle — and celebrates afterwards — on May 19.
